EAST MERSEA HALL East Mersea Hall is a unique venue which is highly suitable for Civil Ceremonies or receptions following a Church wedding. Civil Ceremonies – The Terrace Room For a Civil Ceremony the ‘Terrace’ Room within the Hall wil be available and this seats 45 guests comfortably. If further seating is required the terrace area can be used. Following the ceremony photographs can be taken making full use of the house, gardens and woodlands whilst guests can enjoy drinks and canapés on the terrace. The wedding breakfast can then follow in the pavilion or within the house. Pavilion The glass fronted pavilion takes in the breathtaking splendour of the lake which brings the outdoors indoors to you and your guests. The seating allows for 120 for a wedding breakfast and up to 150 for a buffet. The pavilion is available following either a Civil ceremony or a Church wedding. The pavilion is fully furnished with ivory silk lining, swags and tails, carpeted wooden floor, tables and Chivari banqueting chairs with changeable seat pad colours, and elegant chandelier lighting complimented with a starlit dance floor.
